Happy end of 2023, my friends! In my final newsletter of the year, I want to say thank you so much for being here and for your support as a paid subscriber. I love and appreciate all my readers, but you most of all.
So—how are your holidays going? We’re in that liminal space between Christmas and New Year’s, when there is a lull in the festivities and everything feels quiet. At my house, we’ve been living in our pajamas amid a pleasant mess of crumpled wrapping paper and dirty dishes after hosting Christmas Eve dinner. I hope you are spending the twilight hours of 2023 similarly basking in the holiday afterglow with your loved ones.
I have lots more Scandinavian fun for you for these last days of the year, including books, movies, and music. But first, dessert! Tonight, we’re nibbling on kanelbullar and sipping aquavit old fashioneds (an original cocktail recipe!).
