I take millions of pictures of buildings but I never know stuff like "the architecture is three different types of historic designs." That type of information always increases awe.
I’m also very drawn to buildings as photography subjects—every time I look at my camera roll I tell myself that I need to take less pictures of buildings and more of people! I obviously gave myself a pass for this one because the design was so interesting.
Ah this was lovely! You're a great virtual tour guide! Really delightful photos and info. So pleased you joined the STSC because it's wonderful getting to know you!
Enjoyed looking at the sun drenched photos while drinking my morning coffee on a rainy day here in New Jersey. I never would have associated this palace with Egypt! Thanks for sharing its history.
I guess the grass is always greener--I’d love to trade the heat for some nice rain right now. Your morning coffee sounds so cozy. :) thanks for reading, Vicki!

"The city is the stones, not the people.
Why should it be? People breathe and die,
they come, and they go. Faithless."

A thought I refer to a lot, despite not fully agreeing with haha!
