Lovely! I’m going to Greece in October and was very excited to see this on your page. So far I am visiting Athens, Naxos, and Santorini. Trying to decide which other island to add to the end of my trip. Thank you for the Athens tips! If you have any other recs I’d love to hear. -Madison
Hi Madison! I’m jealous that you’re about to go to Greece, you’re going to have an amazing time. I went to Santorini in 2013 and it was so dreamy. I’d love to go back someday.
In terms of islands to add onto the end of your trip—Hydra is definitely doable as a day trip, but it’s worth staying a night if you have time. We also thought about taking a day trip to Aegina, because it’s only an hour or so by ferry from Athens and apparently there’s a nice temple that you can hike to. We only decided not to do it so that we could really take our time in the city.
I definitely have a few more recs for Athens! I will shoot you an email. :)
Pottery?? Say no more, I’m already there! But seriously, Sifnos looks gorgeous. It’s definitely going on our list for next time. Thanks for the rec, Katie:)

Excited to copy this trip exactly! Sifnos is also on our list - an island known for capers, slow roasted goat, and pottery!
